Book 1 of "A Thread Between Friends"

Novel version coming soon

On the night of an angry full moon in the year 307 AT, a priestess named Nerva of the Qyo Faith vanished with nary a trace, after being exiled from her monastery by order of Monos Oledias of the Purple Orchids.

Listen to that story here: https://spaceseer.bandcamp.com/album/feral-forests

In the centuries following the disappearance of the Priestess, the Monos of the Qyo Empire transformed the doctrine of the Qyo Faith from one of peace and friendship into one of forceful, dictatorial rule.

Wister Oledias, in his desire to warp the religious-reality of Qyo citizens across the canyonlands, enforced a violent separation between the flower-folk known as Kylyy, and mushroom-folk of Fulgen kind.

During her time, the Priestess warned of an all-out attack on the lives of the Qyo people of by the Bouquet of Oledias. Even after her death, she was famous for always holding on to hope for the truth of the Qyo doctrine to prevail. To love and respect everyone in celebration of the world's multi-bio diversity.

So famous in fact, that a cult formed around her reserved and somber personality, as well as her kindness towards others of any creed or specie, as remembered through stories of survivors from her Monastery; such is the longevity of a kylyy life if it isn't cut short, as was the fate of the poor Arch-Priestess.

The followers of the Priestess know that they have a long, dreary path to regaining the influence their martyr commanded, an influence that could potentially rival that of Wister Oledias someday.

This path leads to the Feral Forests, on winding hills beyond the Forked River, North of Qyo. If the Nightlilies can make it through the horrors of the Forest, there is a chance they will meet a strange and popular elite within the complex social-class of these woods: Lord Sarmyx, Oyster Mushroom Protector of the Central Feral Forests!

FERAL MOON - NOW AVAILABLE ON SPACESEER WEBSITE, BANDCAMP AND AMPWALL

Feral Moon is a sequel to our single of the same name from 2021, and features a return of the voice talent of Raven Timm as Nerva, the Banished Priestess (and many others) as well as the guitar talents of Nathan Curtis Richardson (Temples U.S., BATH)

Joining us in bringing this epic narrative to life is Alan Azcona of Arcaneum Studios, not to mention the great dungeon synth acts of Seven Black Books and Vukkeg. Together, Arcaneum and spaceseer have crafted our biggest album to date, at almost 70 minutes in length.

Pleurotos Djamora - Pink Oysters of Merasmius (South Peninsula)

A multi-conscious cluster of brilliant pink appeared feasting on a dead beech tree stump. This brilliant occasion confirmed good fortune in truly magnificent ways. Her oyster-bloomed face stood tall as a living source of sustenance and even ecstacy.

Medicine Provider for everyone, especially the North in Indusiatus, where the builders fuel the wants of the Merasmians. The past isn’t worth dwelling upon; it is the future kindness that must be nurtured in the present. The vibe of Djamora is supposed to be that of a sexy, wise oracle, who bestows knowledge in the form of her fruitful essence. Indusiatus wages war on Merasmius for many reasons, one of which is oversimplified as the Blue Oysters wish to control the output of the lustful and delicious Pink Oyster clusters, partially out of love and respect, however Indusiatus is held in the clutches of the Blue Oyster kingdoms.

Djamora popularized the idea of asking which trees to be consumed by their mycelial kingdom. This sparked a silent war of ethics between the trees and the Blue Oysters due to Djamora’s open diplomacy with The Trees. Some might say this is how the two different mushroom kingdoms and the ever-growing Spire Trees created a mutually-beneficial economic and social relationship: Trees willing to give their ancient bodies away to either of the Pleurotos Kingdoms often did so when they were sick and riddled with rot. If the tree still retains its consciousness and ability to transmute with the mycelial roots, it can choose who is worthy to adopt its carcass for new growth. If the tree is beyond consciousness, of which there are many dead-or-near-dead Trees in dispute throughout the Fulgen Peninsula, the Kingdoms must settle it themselves. credits released April 7, 2023 spaceseer at the time of this recording consists of:
